Due to continued growth, they have an immediate requirement for a Test Engineer at their Wokingham site. The Test Engineer will be responsible for undertaking the testing of electronic hardware in a low-volume and prototype manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities for the Test Engineer: Undertake software and system integration test. Operation of an environmental test chamber. Create test procedures in consultation with design engineers. Installation of operating systems Linux and Windows. Fault finding, debugging and resolution of issues. Checking that all work meets quality and technical standards. Occasional visits to customer sites to support equipment setting to work and field service. Skills and Experience for the Test Engineer: Essential: HNC or equivalent in electronics Studying towards is acceptable. Also open to industrial placement year students as part of a degree in electronics or similar. Ability to write comprehensive test plans and test procedures. Computer Literate and competent with using Microsoft Word and Excel packages. Desirable: Experience of both Windows and Linux operating systems. Experience with software tests.
