Scientist Positions at AfaSci Research Laboratories Job description • Conduct rodent behavioral tests/assays, particularly in pain model and tests • Perform pharmacological experiments in PK/PD studies • Possibly engage in electrophysiological studies using patch clamp or EEG/EMG recordings Qualifications • PhD, MD or MS in biology, biochemistry, or neuroscience • Experience in research into pain, sleep or cognition is a plus • Experience in histology, IHC or pathology is a plus Training opportunities • Electrophysiology (patch clamp recording, extracellular recording or EEG/EMG recording) • Neuroscience and drug discovery (rodent behavioral assessment and pharmacologic tests) • Small business entrepreneurship To apply Email your resume to Sue Li, PhD (email: XXXX@afasci.com ) About AFASCI www.afasci.com AfaSci, Inc., a biotech in Redwood City, California conducts R&D in both Biotechnology and Therapeutics.
