Jarislowsky Fraser – Operations/Account Opening Internship/Co-Op Summer 2024 4 Months: (May – August) The intern within the Account Opening Team will be responsible for the data entry related to our client profile forms. In this role, the candidate/employee will work to update our database/book of records with all relevant client/portfolio information that is contained in our client profile forms. Is this role right for you? In this role, you will: Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge. Data input and analysis Act as a business process support analyst in providing account administration support Identify incorrect, inconsistent data and investigate/report anomalies Maintain and update interfaces for data import/ export to various systems. Create, Update and maintain documentation – as required Additional tasks may be assigned as required Understand how JFL’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk. Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment. Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if: Strong organizational and time management skills. High-level of attention to detail and accuracy. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel and Power Point. Previous experience with client KYC’s is considered.
