Strategic Risk Solutions Inc (SRS), a fast-growing privately-owned insurance services company, is looking for a Senior Cash and Treasury Administrator to provide superb support to colleagues in Halifax. SRS provides consulting, accounting, and management services to insurance companies, predominantly those licensed as captive insurance companies, in the US, Barbados, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands and Europe with a staff of 280+ employees and expects to continue to grow and expand domestically and abroad. Duties include: For a portfolio of (re)insurance companies: Supporting the general day to day operations of the client service team in the overall cash management of a portfolio of insurance and reinsurance companies and fund administration clients; Accounts payable, online cash management and related bank functions; Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual cash and investment accounting statements and reconciliations; Work with international banking institutions on payment queries and processes; Monthly Bank reconciliations for client bank operating and custody accounts; Fund subscriptions, redemptions, foreign exchange transactions and investment directions; New corporate bank operating, trust and investment accounts onboarding; Assisting Treasury department with Letter of Credit issuance and drawdowns; Corporate Trust accounts reconciliation, investment directions and withdrawals; Alternate for similar duties performed by colleagues within the cash and treasury department; and Other cash and treasury administrative tasks as may be assigned from time to time by management; For SRS Halifax Companies: Payment of other vendors; Payment of statutory deductions and filings; Medical and general insurance renewal payments and amendments; Monthly reconciliation and payment of corporate credit cards; Monthly bank reconciliations of SRS client bank accounts; Other cash and treasury administrative tasks may be assigned from time to time by management. .
