About The Role/Responsibilities We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Java, Ruby on Rails, Typescript, Python, AWS and Azure. We are looking for a broad range of experience to include, but not limited to, each of the technologies listed above. As a Software Engineer you will work on a wide range of projects and be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimising software solutions. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be working in multidisciplinary teams utlising Agile methodologies on Public Sector projects abiding by the Government Digital Standards (GDS). You’ll be working closely with key stakeholders at our Public Sector clients and enabling them to strategically shape and analyse their complex Digital Transformation projects. You’ll be leading business research initiatives, to map end-to-end business processes, conduct data modelling and identify known frictions and pain points. You’ll be responsible for shaping the culture of practice around your domain internally at Olive Jar Digital. About you/Experience You can strategically shape and lead analysis as part of multi-disciplinary teams operating within programme, portfolio or scaled agile methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet business requirements. Develop and maintain web applications using broad range of technologies to ensure robust and scalable performance. Proficiency extends to Java, Ruby on Rails, Typescript, Python, AWS and Azure. We are looking for a broad range of experience to include, but not limited to, each of the technologies listed above. Create and maintain cloud-based solutions on AWS, including serverless applications, microservices, and data storage. You have demonstratable experience of successfully contributing to the delivery of Digital products and projects in the Public Sector using GDS. You can select the appropriate business modelling.
