The Faculty of Law is housed in the elegant, state-of–the-art Jackman Law Building alongside two historical buildings, Flavelle House and Falconer Hall, on the St. George Campus in downtown Toronto. Your Opportunity Hiring a part-time (60% FTE) Research Associate for a project funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, Rebuilding Public Trust after COVID-19: Examining Public Health Measures and Their Impact on Disabled Persons. The Research Associate will be responsible for the coordination of the research project, which involves researchers from several departments at the University of Toronto and from several institutions in Canada and Brazil. The Research Associate will be responsible for: organizing regular meetings, preparing progress reports, supporting the organization of workshops and conferences, and assisting with the preparation of publications. This position will also ensure regular and timely consultation with the advisory board and the supporting disability organizations. Contributing, with the principal investigators, to the supervision of research assistants. In addition, there will be involvement in some of the qualitative and quantitative components of the research. Your Responsibilities Conducting research on public health law and policy in relation to COVID 19, including involvement in qualitative and quantitative research. Drafting of papers, in collaboration with members of the research team, on public health law and policy Coordinating research activities, including organizing team meetings, preparing.
