Company: We are a small interior design atelier which provides bespoke services for our clients. We specialise in creating contemporary interiors in character properties, in many cases period, bringing them a new lease of life for our private clients in Central London. The Role: The candidate primary focus will be of supporting the interior design director under whom all internships are done. The job has three different sections of work to be carried out: Administrative: there will be a wide range of administrative tasks for which the candidate will have to be organised, communication efficient and have a pro-active attitude. Design: The candidate will also have a series of project related tasks, tailor-made to them to expose the candidate to the running of an interior architecture or interior design project and the industry in a wider sense, including suppliers, clients, budgets and site. Social Media: The candiadate will be asked to carry out some marketing and social media in the form of internal portfolios/brochures, Social Media platforms such as Instagram, etc Education: - Currently enrolled on any type of Interior Design studies. - Will also consider those that are perhaps looking for a full time job, for which this position will start giving them a taste of the day to day rhythm of a studio. - Knowledge in different softwares would be appreciated. The softwares we are currently using are Vectorworks & Auto Cad, Mic. Office, Adobe Photoshop, In Design & Sketch Up - The candidate will have to demonstrate exceptional organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. - The candidate will have a pro active and independent attitude to work and will appreciate a more guided rather than micromanaging approach. Tasks: - The candidate will offer administrative support to the Design Director such as (but not exclusively) keeping records, liaising with contractors & suppliers to schedule meetings, research new suppliers, samples requests, organise.
