Monarch House is a child development centre providing seamless services to families impacted with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related developmental delays. If you are passionate about helping children and youth communicate to the best of their ability and enhancing their relationships while maximizing their quality of life, this is your chance to work with an interdisciplinary team As an ABA Therapist on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to support your clients in achieving their goals. Our commitment to excellence goes beyond the way we serve our communities. Job Types : Part-time Salary : From $21-23 per hour Schedule: 3-4 evenings a week from 4:30-7:30pm The role will transition to daytime shift in the summer from 9am-4pm (July 2-August 30) Take an inside look at what you will do each day: Prepare and conduct comprehensive (intensive) ABA therapy sessions Collect and graph data Maintain client binders and materials Maintain daily written communication logs with family and other staff Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and other professionals as required Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team Uphold Centre policies and procedures Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc. as set out by Monarch House Attend Monarch House social and public events Here is what you will need to be successful Positive attitude, organized, and passion for learning Basic knowledge in applied behavior analysis principles, implementation, and ethical professional practice Post-graduate certificate in ABA (i. e. BST or ABS certificates) and/or undergraduate degree in psychology or a related field Registered Behavior Technician™ (RBT™) certification or willingness to complete training for RBT.
