They are seeking a Lead Space Systems Engineer to join their team in Luxembourg. The Lead Space Systems Engineer will be responsible for spearheading the design, construction, and delivery of small satellites for their global clientele. You will be the driving force, encompassing the entire project lifecycle, from initial product review to final client acceptance. Key Responsibilities for the Lead Space Systems Engineer: - Spacecraft systems design and architecture both overall and in detail with hands-on work. - Coordinating technical activities with customers and suppliers. - Alignment of mission and spacecraft design to ESA standards - Technical consulting with international clients. - Coaching and guidance of non-senior engineers. - Prepare documentation according to applied space engineering standards. - Technical involvement in all aspects of mission and spacecraft design. - Ensuring a proper balance between time consumption and quality. - Assignment planning using SCRUM and JIRA Key Skills and Experience Required by the Lead Space Systems Engineer: - Possess several years of experience designing satellites, ideally honed on cutting-edge new space projects. - Demonstrate proficiency in applying systems engineering principles requirements analysis, architecture, simulation, integration, verification & validation to deliver successful projects. - Experience delivering projects according to established standards like ESA ECSS or NASA equivalents. - Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex technical challenges head-on. - Proven experience.
