Job Summary Links Global seeks a talented and detail-oriented Software and Database Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and database systems. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implementing innovative solutions to meet organizational needs. Responsibilities Software Development - Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements. - Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.Database Development - Design, implement, and maintain relational databases. - Optimize database performance, ensuring scalability and reliability. - Develop and implement data migration and integration processes.System Architecture - Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems. - Ensure software solutions align with the overall IT architecture and business objectives. - Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and frameworks for software development.Testing and Quality Assurance - Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify and address defects. - Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software.Documentation - Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software applications and databases. - Document database structures, relationships, and data models.Collaboration - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other developers, system analysts, and business stakeholders. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).- Proven experience in software and database development.- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or similar.- Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server).- Knowledge of web development frameworks and technologies.- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
