Job details Location Brampton, ON, L6R 1M9Salary: 27.50 hourly 35 hours per Week Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Start date: Starts as soon as possiblevacancies: 2 vacancies Overview Languages English Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience1 year to less than 2 years Responsibilities Tasks Address customers' complaints or concerns Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques Mountain driving expertise Owner-operator business skills Professionalism in customer service Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Pay and receive payments for goods Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of vehicle Perform preventive maintenance Receive and relay information to central dispatch Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo Transport and handle dangerous goods Additional information Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Handling heavy loads Large workload Overtime required Repetitive tasks Personal suitability Flexibility Judgement Organized Reliability Team player Who can apply to this job?
