Chef Manager/ Cook Whitley Court, Paignton GBP 11.60 37.5 hours per week : 8am to 3.30pm please see shift pattern below : part time hours considered We have an exciting opportunity for a Chef Manager with strong leadership skills and a creative flair to grow and manage the delivery of a quality catering service that meets the high expectations and varied dietary requirements of our residents. You will also be responsible for the management and development of the kitchen team. Internally, we call this role Chef Manager. Our Taste Restaurant is open to customers from 8:30am : 2:30pm, seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Located in the heart of the English Riviera, Whitley Court offers a selection of independent living apartments for rent with a range of on: site services and facilities and is designed to offer comfort and peace of mind. Our Chef Manager will enjoy steady hours with no split: shifts compared to other areas of the catering world, which may be a good choice if you have a family to consider or you don't necessarily want to be working late nights. If you want to create restaurant style food without the restaurant style hours, this is a great opportunity to hone your skill set whilst creating innovative menus for our customers in a relaxed environment. Though we refer to the position as Chef Manager, it is also known as Executive Chef, Head Chef, Sous Chef, Chef and Chef de Partie. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly open manner are essential for success in this role.
