We currently have an opening in our Warehouse/Logistics department for a Warehouse Associate. No experience required, WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON. Warehouse Associate - Essential Duties Tasks include but are not limited to assisting with loading or unloading the vehicle for delivers to/from Novi, receiving and shipping packages, delivering packages to a variety of departments. As well as filling customer orders by pulling/picking items from shelves, verifying items against customer orders, packaging items as necessary to prevent damage during shipment, taking inventory, ensuring clean work area and following all safety rules. And other duties as requested by supervisors or managers. IMCO employees are expected to adhere to all Safety Policies and Procedures. IMCO's primary safety goal is that all of our employees return home at the end of their workday without injury and without illness. Experience & Requirements High school diploma or GED required Previous safety training a plus Adequate verbal and written communication skills that allow for proper information exchange of information. Forklift certification or experience preferred (forklift certification will be provided, if needed). This position requires the ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. This position requires regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Other requirements are: Must be able to walk, and communicate effectively. Ability to walk, lift, and carry items of varying weight not to exceed 70 lbs. Wage & Schedules We have a position available on the following shift, with a minimum base rate of $15.00/hour. 1st Shift, Monday thru Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Benefits All full-time positions are eligible for the following benefits: 2 Medical plan options (1 plan is 100% employer-paid premium ) Dental Plan with up to $1,500 calendar year benefit and benefit rollover Vision Plan with annual exam and glasses allowance Employer-Paid Basic Life Insurance (1 x annual wage) Short-Term Disability Employer-Paid Long-Term Disability 401k plan with up to a 6% match Paid Time Off Working Conditions: The Warehouse Associate will work primarily in a warehouse or production area, where there may be contact with natural oils, synthetic oils, and various grinding dusts. These areas have moderate noise from a variety of machines and have climate control. Due to the nature of our product, proper handling of cutting tools is necessary to prevent injury. Proper instruction, training, and PPE is provided for the specific job or duty.
