Confluent Kafka Engineer (Remote) We have an immediate need for a contract Confluent Kafka Engineer to join a premier management consulting firm. Location: Remote This job expects to pay about $65 - 70 per hour plus benefits. What Gets You The Job: Bachelor's degree/Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline with an excellent academic record 3-8+ years of experience programming in a backend language (Java / Python), with good understanding of troubleshooting errors. 5+ years of experience on Confluent Kafka / 3+ years of experience on Confluent Kafka Cloud Kafka, Control Central, Rest Proxy, HA Proxy, Confluent Kafka Connect, Confluent Kafka Security features 3-5+ years of working experience with different databases such as Oracle/Mysql/MongoDB/Snowflake/RDS databases 3-5+ years of experience with AWS/GCP/Azure, preferred AWS. AWS Solutions Architect certifications is preferred. Proficient in building/scaling large systems end to end using Java/Python/GoLang or other high-performance languages, developer tools, CI/CD, DevOps, Github, Terraform, Ansible. 2+ years of experience on Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana / Splunk) and engineering cloud migration solutions. 3-5+ years of experience with Linux Shell Scripting and good understanding of Networking concepts. 2+ years of experience with K8 / EKS / GoCD deployments Experience in all facets of software development life cycle like analysis, design, development, data conversion, data security, system integration and implementation Experience in working with modern IDE’s (such as Visual Studio Code, Intellij) Understands Kanban process / Agile Methodology Irvine Technology Corporation (ITC) is a leading provider of technology and staffing solutions for IT, Security, Engineering, and Interactive Design disciplines servicing startups to enterprise clients, nationally.
