Are you looking for a great job opportunity with a loving family? Then we're looking for you! About the position: - Part-time (10 hrs/week), 4 days/week, $25/hr flexible could do three days - Start date: mid/late September (flexible)Occasional weekend hours may be offered. - Location: we are renovating our house so from Sep until early 2024, the position will be based near Dundas & Lansdowne where we will be staying. After that, it will be at our regular home, which is near Bloor & Ossington. - We have 2.5 and 5 year old fun-loving kids! We also will have a newborn in October, however the position is to help with the two older children. - Position involves; prepping food and feeding kids; taking kids on outings to parks, etc; playing, crafts; helping SK with homework, if any; related household tasks (helping kids tidy, laundry, dishes); occasionally putting the kids to bed if needed. - Once we are back at our Bloor & Ossington location, position may involve school/daycare pickups (kids go to the same location and it's within 10 mins walking distance to house). About you: - Super kind, loving and warm- Gentle, respectful and positive approach to caregiving- Inclusive, 2SLGBTQ -friendly- Enjoy being outdoors, planning fun activities, creative (our oldest in particular loves arts & crafts)- First aid/CPR certified, police check, references- Pro-vaccination (we will have a newborn at home so it's very important you are up-to-date on all your routine vaccines including COVID-19 and flu)- OK with dogs (we have a small, very friendly border terrier, low shed)- Experience as an ECE is a bonus.
