Senior/Financial Analyst, FP&A

Essential Functions: Analyze monthly financial results against forecast, budget, and prior year, and work with accounting and Operating Companies to understand variance drivers and how they impact results Partner with cross functional teams to support customer profitability initiatives utilizing the cost-to-serve model and train new users as the model is rolled out to the organization Assist with the preparation of presentations for management, BOD, and banking needs monthly Develop and maintain standardized financial reports across the company Monthly reconciliation of financials between consolidation/planning system (Planful) and cost-to-serve model (Anaplan) for each operating company Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in FP&A to continuously improve processes and procedures. Competencies, Education, and Experience: Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are essential for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support decision-making. Attention to Detail: A high level of attention to detail is critical for ensuring accuracy in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Ethical Standards: Upholding high ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality with sensitive financial information is paramount. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the specific industry or sector in which the company operates can be beneficial for understanding market dynamics and business drivers. Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting is required. A master's degree or professional certifications (CPA, CMA) are preferred but not required. Experience: Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm Physical Demands: Stand or sit for long periods of time Travel by auto or by flying commercial or privately as required.
