Description: Perform all facility maintenance and facility support including, soldering, plumbing, stream fitting, and plumbing maintenance. Work as a member of a high performance customer-oriented, proactive team. Maintain accuraterecords. Operation and maintenance of high - pressure compressors and related equipment. Maintain and troubleshoot large capacity building sanitary systems. Be proficient in the assembly, fabrication, an insulation of mechanical piping systems of copper, PVC,CPVC, polyethylene, black iron, and galvanize steel. Troubleshoot and repair of plumbing fixtures and valve Basic Qualifications: Candidate must obtain and maintain a secret clearance. Minimum five years successful experience gained as a plumber or the equivalent in training / Experience Journeyman status required Desired Skills: High school or equivalency, Plumber background desired. Ability to perform plumber trouble shooting and installation. Strong communication skills Must possess basic computer skillsAbility to read mechanical blueprintsMust work well with others, as well as yourself Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leaderThe base range for this position in New York is $38.98 - $42.40. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. The wage range and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
