School District Special Education Paraprofessional $18 - $21 per hour Easily Apply Hiring Multiple Candidates Full time and Part Time Looking for a great way to support local schools and impact the lives of young people? Zen Educate is looking for educators who are passionate about teaching and positively contributing to the lives of children in the Greater Denver area. We’re currently hiring for Special Education Paraprofessionals. In this role you will support licensed teachers with academic adaptations, self-care, and social/behavioral needs. Key Duties: Assisting licensed staff in the classroom Aid students in meeting their individualized education plan (IEP) Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning Work with individuals and/or small groups when activities and assignments are presented Provides support for students in crisis Provide personal care support as needed Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student's learning experiences and support them as needed Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma Experience working with children Preferred Requirements: First Aid & CPR Certification Previous experience working in special education Crisis prevention training Behavioral Technician or PCA experience Additional Requirements: Additional requirements include US Work Authorization. Zen Educate is unable to sponsor any employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.
