Warehouse Associate - Pick/Pack

Description:
Plumbers Supply Co, a local family-owned company, has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate at our Indianapolis Branch. As a Warehouse Pick/Pack Associate, you will perform tasks related to order picking. Schedule is Monday-Friday (1st Shift) (with possible required overtime)(hrs can be subject to change). Responsibilities Include but are not limited to: Accurately pick products by matching number and products using RF Scanner. Read customer orders and pick ordered items from storage shelves or rooms using barcodes, serial numbers, etc. Updating inventory in ERP after each item is picked. Helping team members maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment that is safe & accessible for salespeople, customer traffic and employees. Maneuvering heavy inventory using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc. Requirements High School Diploma or GED Equivalent At Least 1 year of prior Warehouse Experience Customer Service Focused Dependable Attendance Excellent communication and customer service skills Attentive to Detail Motivated to Train & Learn Stamina to Stand & Walk for entire shift Computer Proficient Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to more than 75 lbs with assistance. Repetitive use of fingers, hands, wrists and arms with good manual dexterity, to operate hand-held devices, small machinery and other stationary and hand-held tools. Regularly push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, squat, bend, twist, grab, and reach above the shoulders.
