Outside Technical Sales Rep

<p>This job is an outside technical sales position specializing in premium crusher wear parts and ancillary items that requires on-site presence throughout New Jersey and portions of surrounding states. The ideal candidate will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as increase sales to existing customers. Daily tasks will include site visits and cold-calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. This candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to properly explain the benefits of the company products while identifying opportunities for cross sale of items from third party vendors as well as items from within the company`s group. Technical skills are useful in the field when visiting clients as often the job will require identifying saleable parts by confirming dimensions and taking measurements.</p><p style="font-weight: var(--artdeco-reset-typography-font-weight-normal);"> </p><p style="font-weight: var(--artdeco-reset-typography-font-weight-normal);">Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Identify prospective customers, lead generation and conversion</li><li>Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs</li><li>Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems</li><li>Effectively plan inventory needs and pipeline management with new and existing customers</li><li>Provide technical sales support in the field</li><li>Prepare sales quotes and order confirmations</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues in many different sectors of the business</li><li>Maintain contact lists and follow up with customers to continue relationships</li><li>Participate in local industry trade shows and events</li><li>Travel 70-90% (within the terriroty)</li><li>Base Salary + Commission</li></ul><p style="font-weight: var(--artdeco-reset-typography-font-weight-normal);"> </p>
