Sr. Electrical Test EngineerLocation: Lafayette, COJob ID: #69223Pay Range: $55-64The Sr. Electrical Systems Engineer will engage in a broad range of engineering activities as a member of a diverse team working to design the next generation of small satellites..Required Skill Sets: * BS degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or similar * 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience from board to sub-system and system level * Strong ability to communicate with other engineers, management, and external customers over both written and verbal communication channels is a must. * Excellent analytical skills and demonstratable knowledge of electrical engineering and system level design. * Familiarity with at least one schematic capture/layout tool and at least one spice- based simulation tool. * Experience using MATLAB, Python, or other scripting language for scientific * Experience designing for harsh or mission critical environments a plus - including but not limited to aerospace, automotive, aviation, medical, or naval. * Experience designing to industry standards (such as EMI/EMC) a * Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.Desired Skill Sets: * Act as an interface between the electrical engineering team and the systems team by leveraging a solid electrical engineering foundation to help develop system level solutions to difficult technical challenges. * Work with representatives from a variety of engineering discipline to develop trade studies, architecture proposals, and operation plans for satellite Perform detailed and data driven analysis to help guide design decisions. * Review and provide feedback on subsystem designs to ensure the vehicle is robust and meets all electrical requirements at the system level.
