The ideal candidate must possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, a solid work ethic, and a passion for advocacy.Duties:Represent clients in professional liability cases, including legal malpractice, accounting malpractice, and other professional misconduct claimsConduct thorough legal research and analysis on complex legal issues related to professional liability mattersDraft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documentsPrepare and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trialsProvide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients on risk management and litigation avoidance strategiesCollaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to effectively manage caseload and meet deadlinesMaintain accurate and timely billing records and client communication logsRequirements:California Bar membership in good standingMinimum 7+ years of experience practicing law with a focus on complex civil litigation and/or professional liability mattersStrong academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolDemonstrated track record of success in handling professional liability cases from inception to resolutionExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressureEducation and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law schoolActive membership in the State Bar of CaliforniaSkills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)Strong negotiation and advocacy skillsExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesAdvanced knowledge of civil procedure and evidence rulesAbility to analyze complex legal issues and provide strategic solutionsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal software applications This firm specializes in a wide array of practices for domestic and international clients.
