Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm is seeking an Attorney for their New Orleans, LA location.Job Overview:The Attorney will handle insurance defense, construction, professional malpractice, and business law matters.Duties:Represent clients in legal proceedings, draft legal documents, and advise clients on legal matters.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies and legal arguments.Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts as necessary.Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals within the firm.Requirements:1-3 years of experience in a litigation setting, preferably with exposure to insurance defense, construction, professional malpractice, or business law.Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Louisiana State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated commitment to professional development and continuing legal education.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Louisiana State Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.Skills:Litigation experience.Legal research and writing.Client communication and relationship management.Case management and organization.Time management and multitasking.
