POSITION: Compliance Cure & Branding SupervisorREPORTS TO: Manager of ComplianceThis position is responsible for overseeing compliance day-to-day operations within Theraplant's Cure, Extract, Post-Harvest, and Branding areas. Major responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to bulk inventory oversight, bulk-to-finished good conversions, product testing, and all branding submissions.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the Compliance Director and Compliance Manager in monitoring operations to identify and correct instances of non-compliance and concerns within the Company and conducts regular audits, staff training and contributes to process strategy and buildout. • Learn and stay up to date with Connecticut cannabis regulations and any applicable local regulatory guidelines. Assist in analyzing their impact and conform recommendations to operations and management within internal operational documentation (SOPs, Forms & Logs, etc.). • Assist in the development of company-wide policies and standard operating procedures within the Cure, Extract, Post-Harvest Flow/Storage, Production, and Branding areas.• Create, perform, and oversee periodic internal regulatory audits, to identify any potential gaps and prepare the organization for external regulatory audits.• Assist in executing CAPAs resulting from internal and external audits. • Assist with lab testing submissions and COA oversight for cannabis products.o Perform and oversee lab test results data entry to applicable internal and state seed-to-sale systems, as applicable. o Create, collaborate, and manage the transfer manifest process for all finished goods and 3rdparty test samples. • Assist in overseeing and collaborating on packaging and labeling creation, auditing, and changes.• Assist the Production Manager and Extraction Manager in product allocation and forecasting. • Responsible for reporting usable and unusable bulk product information to the Executive Team.• Ensure timely and accurate submission of product branding for DCP review and approval.JOB REQUIREMENTS:• Proficient in Microsoft Excel• 1+ years of management experience• Experience with Cannabis seed-to-sale platforms highly preferred• HS diploma• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred• Compliance experience highly desired• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication, data entry and leadership skills.• Computer proficient with the ability to learn and gain proficiency with new software quickly.EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER:We are an equal opportunity employer.
