Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Naval Branch Health Clinic Gulfport, MS Primary Care Full time, Civilian Contractor position Can be licensed in any state No weekends, no call Providing adult primary care and preventative health care including annual physicals, immunizations and promoting positive health behaviors. Qualifications: Board Certified NP or PAMinimum 1-year experience in primary care with adults Position Overview: The practitioner will provide general screening and medical care and examinations of patients for routine, acute and chronic conditions involving any and all organ systems; provide immunizations; diagnose, treat, and counsel patients as indicated. Appointments are typically 20 minutes, with 40 minutes for new patients. Additionally, the provider will promote preventive care and health maintenance including annual physicals, positive health behaviors and self-care through both formal and individual education and counseling. The patient population is 64 and under and it is active duty military and beneficiaries. There is support staff on site including RNs, NP/PAs and Front Desk Hours: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm MDPerm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
