Grace Federal Solutions is seeking a Contract IT Material Handler with experience in a warehouse setting, IT/IS management in a hospital setting, assets/inventory management. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-profile project and make a significant impact with assisting an organization with the refinement and execution of IT asset management processes to ensure a compliant and optimized IT hardware and software environment. Job Details :Job Title: Information Technology (Material Handler)Assignment Length: 13 WeeksSchedule: 5x8-Hour 08:00 - 17:00Work Schedule: On-site work required Start Date: June 17, 2024 Minimum Qualifications :• High School Diploma • 3-5 years Asset Management Experience Core Job Responsibilities Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Maintain a positive working relationship with all departments to optimize working relationships and communication. Participate in daily, including evenings, on-call support for the medical center’s information services operations. Track and report on the location, description, and associated user information for hardware and software technology assets Establish and manage a centralized IT equipment depot, and ensure stocking levels are sufficient Assist in the receiving, asset tagging, storing, tracking and deployment of IT equipment Serve as the IT lead in audits related to IT assets, including collecting asset information directly and leading asset inventory projects Work closely with business units to manage equipment requests Operates electronic hardware to erase or destroy data from data devices as required to eliminate any data risk on company media. Utilize Remedy software application or other software to automate and optimize asset management processes.
