Able to communicate effectively with Donors, vendors, and management. Primary Duties/Responsibilities:Greets and thanks donors for their donation to the agency. Must be pleasant and polite regardless of the behavior of the donor.:Assist donors with donated goods and provide customer service.:Notifies management of hazardous, valuable and/or inappropriate merchandise/materials are being donated.:A tax receipt is to be offered to each donor.:Notifies management of goods/merchandise found that is not a donated item (i.e., cash, credit card, personal ID).:Works through management to ensure the protection of agency property, goods, and services.:Must read, follow, and model all agency policies and procedures.:Notifies management of any theft or policy violation.:Performs other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements:Ability to lift fifty pounds.:Maneuver ramps, steps, and inclines without difficulty.:Stand for extended periods of time and work in extreme temperatures.MERS Goodwill is an equal opportunity employer.
