The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in handling first-party property defense and/or casualty/liability defense matters. This role requires an active Florida Bar license and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k), dental, health, and vision insurance, and paid time off.Duties:Represent clients in all phases of litigation from inception through trial.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.Manage case files, ensure timely preparation of litigation documents, and maintain up-to-date records.Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.Advise clients on legal matters and potential outcomes.Develop litigation strategies and negotiate settlements.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure case efficiency.Maintain professional and ethical standards while upholding client confidentiality.Requirements:2-6 years of experience in first-party property defense and/or casualty/liability defense matters.Active license to practice law in the state of Florida.Proven track record of handling complex litigation cases.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation software.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Florida Bar (required).Skills:In-depth knowledge of Florida laws and regulations.Expertise in litigation processes and procedures.Proficient in drafting legal documents and pleadings.Ability to effectively manage multiple cases and deadlines.Strong negotiation and mediation skills.Excellent interpersonal and client management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms like Westlaw or LexisNexis.Benefits Offered:401(k) plan.Dental insurance.Health insurance.Paid time off.Vision insurance.Job Location:Orlando, FL
